What’s a SR-22?
A SR-22 form certifies that an automobile liability insurance policy is in force with liability limits that meet Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WI-DOT) requirements. Acquiring a SR-22 form is also referred to as: proof of insurance, proof of financial responsibility, or high risk car insurance.
A SR-22 is needed to obtain an occupational license or to reinstate a regular license after revocation. It can also be needed if you, or a vehicle you own, were involved in an accident without having automobile liability insurance.
We can issue a SR-22 filing each weekday between 8:30am and 4:45pm. Call for a quote or complete the online quote form. Quote forms received weekdays between 4:45pm and 8:30am, or on weekends, are processed the next business day. Coverage is not bound until confirmed by us.
If you don't own a vehicle, a non-owner's policy that includes the SR-22 can be provided.
